Description:
#3890 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB, 325XXX(early 1890), 38WCF with standard 24” barrel and a bore that is about a “6” on a scale of 10. It shows wear and scale the full length, but looks like it will still spin a bullet …but only after “working on loads” will tell for sure just how accurate it will be at ranges over 50-75 yards. Nice smooth action, thin mottled brownish-grey patina over decent smooth metal with only light minor pitting here and there and good markings; some thin faint traces of blue on the barrel lower flats. Very decent wood with no blems of consequence. About VG-VG+ as described. $1575
