#4660 Winchester 1887 Lever Action Shotgun, 30”x12ga
Description:
#4660 Winchester 1887 Lever Action Shotgun, 30”x12ga with about a “6” bore on a scale of 10; crisp tight action, 10XXX serial range. The exterior is nice smooth metal with VG markings and a thin grey-brown patina with the only blemish being that some fool clamped the breech of the barrel in a vise or the jaws of a wrench and scarred it up pretty well. Otherwise the metal is “above average” and the wood is also, having no serious deficits. These ‘87s were sturdy guns, some still in use (mostly by Cowboy Action re-inactors) and they rarely get out of order. Butt-ugly in their looks, they might be compared to being the Abominable Snowman of the shotgun world …not pretty, but VERY impressive! $1395.
