Guns International #: 100410380
Seller's Inventory #: #4820
#4820 Remington “Vest Pocket” derringer, 22RF with surprisingly good bore, most of these being very very pitted from the very corrosive powder; obviously from the overall condition of this relatively scarce little gun, it didn’t get much use. There were approx 17000-12000 of these made between 1865-1888 with the earliest ones being totally unmarked (as this one is), so likely this was made in the mid-to-late 1860s. It is “Antique Excellent” condition as it has well over 80% original finish (closer to 95%) and has excellent original grips. Excellent plus. $745
