Extremely Rare 1st Model British Brown Bess. Unaltered 46"" barrel. Unit marking on the top of the barrel but is unreadable. This gun has all original furniture, barrel and stock. The only part replaced is the lock which was done in period of use. Most of these guns were overhauled by the British military and it is very rare to find an original specimen. This was the primary gun for the British during the American revolution and many of these guns were captured by the Americans. Scarce early historical gun!
