S#5327I, 8x50R mm, 19.5 inch barrel, very good bore with light scattered pitting. This short rifle was built from 1895 to 1915 and features side mounted sling rings, bayonet lug and stacking hook. Action and barrel bands are grey, barrel retains 70% blue in exposed areas. The non matching bottom metal shows 80% blue . Stock is very good with many marks from use. Stock is numbered to action with a small gouge obscuring one number. A very well done arsenal repair runs along left side of action. A very good example with no stamping to indicate it was rechambered. FFL or C&R
