Browning Midas 12 Gauge in Outstanding Condition
Description:
This is an as new Browning Midas shotgun. This shotgun is most likely a Lunch-box shotgun. The receiver is a 1965 Belgium action that is master engraved but not signed. The engraving is the early style with the Ducks on the left side, the Pheasants are on the right side and a quail with cupped wings on the bottom. The 28 inch barrels are marked Skeet but are Cylinder with no choke.Lunch-box guns were in most cases taken out of the factory one piece at a time and later engraved and assembled on a kitchen table. All of the parts are correct and the engraving is master engraver done but the shotgun will not letter from Browning. The SN before and after do letter. Most of the Lunch-box guns were sold to U.S. Servicemen at a steep discount. This is a Midas shotgun and one of the best you will ever see. There are no cosmetic issues with this fine shotgun.
