COLT – Model 1900 .38 U.S. marked Navy contract pistols, consecutive serial numbers, extremely rare and desirable collector grade pistols, 6” barrels, plain walnut grips, high spur hammers, a very unique sight safety that blocks the hammer, chambered for the .38 Colt Auto Rimless, smokeless caliber, both of these features were later changed, modified, or dropped by the military, which makes unaltered examples very rare in this condition. These are two of 250 pistols that were shipped to the U.S. Navy in October and November of 1900, these two specific pistols were shipped in the third out of five lots on October 22nd of 1900. The two pistols are in excellent condition with 98% of the original bright Colt high polish blue finish with minor spot wear, grips remain in excellent original condition, an incredible find, extremely rare and desirable Navy contract pistols, an opportunity to own one of the most unique sets ever put out for sale, available for immediate delivery.
