Description: 25 1/2" tapered octagon barrel with full integral rib, dovetailed swivel stud, dovetailed recoil lug and muzzle brake. Figured walnut stock with ebony schnabel forend tip, steel capped pistol grip, beaded cheekpiece, classic borderless point-pattern checkering---wrapping around at the forend, rear swivel stud and solid black Decelerator recoil pad. Champlin proprietary action with 2-panel checkered bolt knob, hinged floorplate with release inside triggerguard, top tang safety and Canjar trigger. Picatinny-type scope bases and sturdy 1" fixed rings. Pull: 14". Weight: 9lbs, 3oz, with mounts. 99%blue. .338-378 KT is the Keith-Thomson Magnum, developed in the early 1960s, based on the .378 Weatherby Magnum case by Elmer Keith and R.W.
