Cleaning rod set, 4-piece, Win. 1873, Marlin, Colt, and Whitney rifles. These are the correct rods for RIFLES (not carbines), and are the shorter sectioned FOUR piece sets as used in Winchester 1866 and 1873 rifles, Colt-Burgess and Colt-Lightning rifles, several Marlin rifles with 24" barrel lengths, and various Whitney medium framed rifles (..but NOT the longer barreled 28" Express frame models). These rods are from the hoarded batch of parts from a long deceased old Nevada gunsmith and gun junker; his parts long since sold off, but these rods recently found. They suffer somewhat from poor storage and light rust, but most show little wear or much use (likely were "new old stock" in the early 1900s). None have any finish left, but are great rods for VG-Fine guns and would make a great addition to your lever action or pump action that has a butt trap for cleaning rods. VG $125
