Colt 3 1/2 Inch Round Barrel Cartridge Conversion Revolver
Description:
Serial #1900, .38 RF, 3 1/2” octagon barrel with a very good, bright bore that has some minor freckling within the grooves.
This little revolver has nearly all matching numbers, although the arbor is numbered “363”, with the metal having a fairly even, pewter gray patina throughout with mild freckling and a few scattered small impact marks as well.
Old cleaning marks are present on the barrel assembly and the brass trigger guard has a pale yellow-ochre patina that is quite even and uniform in hue.
The walnut grip is in fine shape with only some minor handling marks and blemishes, mostly on the top and bottom of the right side.
The old oil finish has crackled over time and flaked along the butt and frame jucture as well.
The lock-up is still solid and the mechanism is fully functional without any lateral play in the barrel.
This is a great looking Colt conversion in very good-near fine condition that would make a nice addition to any collection.
