Colt Ainsworth .45 SAA Cavalry Circa 1874
Description:
Up for grabs is my circa 1874 Ainsworth Cavalry Single Action Army in beautiful condition. This gun was more than likely an artillery at some point and later converted to cavalry…masterfully so in my opinion. Action was just worked over by my gunsmith and it functions beautifully with 4 solid clicks. Take a look at the included Kopec letter below for details on modifications made to this gun. Serial numbers are noted to be authentic on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Note that the “8” is punched upside down on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap serial markings.
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. If you need any additional detail please don’t hesitate to ask.
M/O only, no credit cards. Ask all questions before placing an order.. Make sure this is legal in your area before . If you're unfamiliar with this process, please contact your local FFL (gun shop) for guidance before buying.
