All matching numbers, 7 1/2" barrel, re-nickel finish. Crisp action, bright bore and clean cylinder. Grip panels in excellent condition. Nickle finish is slightly faded on left side of barrel and on ejector rod housing. Comes with provenance from an inscription on the inside of the left grip panel which reads, "Jacob Butler, Clarinda, Iowa". Information obtained from the towns historian states he was a Captain in the Civil War, First Nebraska infantry. He was also a founder of Clarinda along with his brother. No CA. sales. 3 day non-firing inspection period.
