Lots of original color in all protected areas of the flutes of the cylinder and all corners around trigger guard, ejector housing, and front sight. Barrel and cylinder numbered and matching.
Colt has government inspector proof marks on frame, back face of cylinder, and under ejector housing on barrel. "C" & "G" on barrel under ejector housing near lug. D.F.C. on frame above serial number. Just missing the final "US" on frame, but instead got a sideways "C" stamped on frame and sold on civilian market.
Action is good and strong, four clicks, and locks up tight. Bore is a solid 8/10, only light pitting. Grips retain a good amount of original varnish, solid and tight fit.
