Deluxe Perkins Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun, 34" barrels, probably an 11 bore, high quality English maker, overall gun is very good plus with smooth clean metal having turned an even dark plum brown patina.  The back 1/2" of the upper tang is missing and the ramrod is a replacement.  Inlaid silver cloverleaves and border decorations are present at the breech, barrel address 'London Fine Twist Warranteed' is inlaid with silver along with fancy scrolls on the rib, silver inlaid scrolls are present on the rib four inches back from the muzzle along with a silver bead sight.  Scroll engraving is present on the hammers, sideplates and upper tang.  The forend tip, wedge escutcheons, triggerguard, stock escutcheon, percussion cap storage furniture and buttplate appear to be silver with fancy engraving.  A pair of pheasants are present on the trigger guard as well.  A pair of iron rienforcement strips have been carefully inlaid on the underside of the gun next to the trigger guard. 1/4" X 4.5" each held in place by six tiny screws.  Well done.  VG deluxe checkered walnut with some small wood loss near the barrels.  The wrist crack is visible but the repairs have made it solid.  Overall this deluxe Perkins still has alot of eye appeal.
