HIGH STANDARD 4th MODEL OLYMPIC .22 SHORT - EXCELLENT & UNUSUAL -
Description:
This old High standard Fourth Model Olympic is quite different than one's I have seen in the past. First of all the barrel has no compensator slot cuts on either side of the front sight. Secondly the pistol bears no serial number in any of the usual places (there is a number electropenciled under the left grip - #441973, but I have no idea why). And thirdly, the aluinum frame of the pistol is not grooved on the front or back side. Other than the aforementioned the pistol is a standard Olympic Fourth Model with all the correct markings, etc. It has a 6&3/4 inch barrel with weights attached, an aluminum frame, and aluminum slide, etc. Overall condition is 95% with no rust or pits and a perfect bore and chamber. An unusual High Standard and we wish it could talk. Perhaps a "Lunch Box" gun but then why the electropenciled number under the grip?
