Here is a very nice Model 1876 that matches factory records as having been shipped on Oct. 25, 1888 as a 45-60 caliber with 28" round barrel and button or 1/2 magazine. This one is in very strong condition. The overall condition of the metal is excellent. The barrel is a nice sharp blue starting to soften. Receiver retains generous amounts of blue also starting to plum. Nice case colors on hammer and lever. Beautiful untouched wood and original varnish. Nice strong bore with some frosting but sharp. Overall an extremely handsome rifle with special order features, scarce on any Model 1876.
