Italian Flintlock pistol. Manufactured by G. M. Loggia circa 1750-1770 and was converted to percussion at some point. Barrel length is 12½” and overall length is 18½”. Pistol has fine silver wire inlay. The barrel has a faceted first stage and round second stage with good markers sinks. Stock is in very good condition and has a horn forend cap and carved borders. Trigger guard and ramrod pipes are all accented by relief. This is a very handsome pistol and has features found on much higher value pistols.
