Hand: Right Comments: Mfg 1880. Gun built for Ripon. Refinished in Australia in the mid-90's. Built as a 3rd-quality back action under lever hammer double rifle. Barrel and Action done by Smith, while Purdey finished stock and engraved the gun. A common practice for 3rd-qauality guns. Bore is bright but there is some pitting. Includes letter from Purdey and oak and leather luggage case.
