A fellow collector is thinning out his herd. This is one of them. More to follow. Here's your chance to add not-often-seen quality tools to your collection without breaking the bank.
A beautiful example of the late plum version with the sliding latch mechanism to hold the rimless case. Marked with the Ideal New Haven Middlefield address, "30-06" and "Made in USA" (You don't see that much any more). Retains 100% original rich plum finish (looks new).
The bullet seating die is has that great old time blue (a few very light longitudinal scratches) and is marked "123", which is correct for the 30-06, stem marked "413" (spitzer). The neck expander has a few nicks and is marked "15" (30-40) back when Ideal was still marking generic die bodies with a caliber crossref. Stem marked "308". The neck resizer is also marked "123". The bullet sizer is marked "311", the plunger "278" (round nose). The decapping tool is original.
The instructions are the later one size fits all tools description.
The box is solid, with the top label showing some silverfish work. The end label is marked with an "X"ed out "30-06" and some other light notations.
All in all, a complete set in excellent condition. You get the feeling that the next tool off the line was the 310 model.
M.O. or check, but check must clear. Buyer pays $10.50 shipping in a Medium Flat Rate box with Delivery Confirmation. Payment expected within three days.
