Mauser action 30.06 with full coverage engraving in relief, oak leaves and vines with correctly proportioned game scene vignettes on the floor plate (Stag) and trigger guard (Pronghorn).
Original claw-mounted, Berlin made Pecar 3x7 variable scope with tapered crosshairs and exceptional clarity for the period, matted standing rib with ramp front sight. Highly figured Mannlicher, double Schnabel (Schnabels in both the forearm and muzzle positions), Monte Carlo stock with hand-cut point checkering pattern, elegantly styled Bavarian double cheek-piece; ebony at the muzzle, grip cap and butt plate.
Double set trigger with tang and bolt safeties, Special Boehler Steel 21 3/4" barrel, overall length 42 3/4". 14 1/2" LOP, DAC 1 1/2", DAH 2 1/2", approximate weight 8 lbs., 8 oz. with scope. Very light handling marks with 98 % BB and 95% wood finish. An excellent, high condition example from one of the great and widely acclaimed European rifle makers.
