S/N 3326. A very scarce and early 1st Model Merwin with "Russian Model" stamped on the left side of the frame. This means it's chambered in the 44 Russian cartridge. Gun retains about 40% of the nickel. The front sight has been filed down. The knob on the bottom of the frame is gone. The lockup is a little loose. The lanyard ring is missing. A true western gun thats "been there and done that". The grips are a beautiful aged yellow patina. They have shrunk some but thats to be expected on a gun thats over 140 years old. A true rarity.
