Guns International #: 100516787
Seller's Inventory #: AH3601
Metropolitan Arms Co. Percussion .36 caliber revolver. Serial number 1496. No barrel address, also referred to as an Unmarked Dimick. H.E. Dimick of St. Louis Metropolitans; of those 300 approximately 100 were marked with the Dimick name and address. The remaining 200 are unmarked. Since the First Model Metropolitan Navies were unmarked, it is impossible to say if this is one of Dimick’s 200 unmarked guns or not. This gun has an excellent bore and the action works perfectly. Grips are near excellent except for an old chip out of the left side that is fairly easy to overlook. Front sight is a silver dime, as is occasionally seen on old revolvers. Overall very good condition.
