An original 100 cartridge package of Kynoch manufacured, Morris No. 2 Aiming Tube Mark II cartridges in 22 centerfire. The use of "Morris tubes" for the Lee Metford and Lee Enfield was directly related to the English military training method of "starting" the raw recruit with a miniature cartridge in their .450 and later .303 caliber rifles. This allowed for the average soldier to gain familiarity and confidence in his weapon before they were given large caliber shells. These Morris No.2 tube inserts were quite popular and cost effective from the military's point of view. Marked, Kynoch 1903.
