Pair of Horsemans Percussion Pistols. Horsemans pistols by Johann Jakob Kuchenreuter, born in 1709 and died in 1783. Worked in Regensburg. these pistols were converted to percussion from flintlock. Barrel length is 10 1/2"" and is 15 1/2"" overall. guns have set trigger. Barrel on once pistol has very good blue. the blue on the other pistol is a blue-patina mix. Stocks are very good plus. Note: One pistol has a replaced trigger guard tang. That pistol has an old stock repair that was professionally done and is not visible. Stocks and ramrods have horn tips. Guns are very good plus overall. Handsome pair of pistols.
