Remington 31TC 12 gauge shotgun. This is an “all matching” gun; serial number 30605 appears on the frame, barrel and trigger assembly making mfg. date 1934. The 30” barrel, with original milled vent rib, has .034” (full/x-full) choke and the bore is mint. The desirable short lift trigger has a release mechanism built into it. All metal finishes are the original rust blue; the barrel 95% with forearm/slide marks, the frame is 90-95%, showing wear from a right hand shooter on edges, the trigger group is 95% with edge wear. Now for the wood: This 31 has an Anton rollover stock and matching forearm. For Midwestern trapshooters in the 1960’s and 1970’s an Anton Stock (from Waterloo, Iowa) was the ultimate stock set-up! Every Anton stock was custom fitted to the shooter: This one is 1 ¼” DAC, 1 ¼” DA monte carlo and 2” DAH with 14 ¾” LOP and ¼’ RH cast. Weight: 8 lbs. 14 oz. A very nice 31TC
