I was born with cerebral palsy after being born premature. Until I was

fourteen I was in a wheelchair anytime I would leave the house. At the

age of fourteen, I set out to learn how to walk, so I could get out of

 my wheelchair when I would leave the house. I started by trying to

take steps in the grass and got up to six steps. I then began the

process of walking behind my family and brother-in-law anytime I

would be going from the house to the car, I then moved to using

 firefighter boots to help support my feet and ankles. I eventually

started walking on forearm crutches, which I do today. I'm now 25 years

 old and in hand control drivers training. I'm close to finishing my

 training, and now need to provide my own car for the hand controls to

 be installed. Vocational Rehab will pay for the controls, and the

modification to my car. Currently, i'm attending college to hopefully

secure a job in Computer Networking. Your contribution will make a huge difference in my life. It will allow me to have my independence, and give me the option of taking in person classes, as apposed to online only classes. I will also be able to drive myself to, and from work once I have a job. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
