Sedgley Springfield .250/3000. This is a very rare caliber for the Sedgley Co. The rifle is built on a 1903 Springfield action that shows 95% blue and has a Lyman 48 rear sight that is period correct in 90% condition. The barrel is 22" with a clean R.F. Sedgley, Philadelphia, Pa USA marking and 95% blue. The forward sight is a barrel band mounted ramp with a hood that is correct to the rifle. The trigger guard and floorplate show some thinning of blue and are in 60% condition. The stock has strong original chequering and fair condition finish. There are light handling marks over the balance of the stock and the lop is 13 1/2" to an original metal buttplate. This rifle has an excellent bore and rarity of caliber...
