Description:
A very unusual rifle that is chambered for a rare, virtually unobtainable 8mm rimmed Siamese cartridge. The receiver ring shows the Siamese "Charkaa" with markings for the model year which translates to "R.S 121" or (Ratanakos 121) The year of Adoption of the Dynasty, Chrisitan year 1903. All markings including the sight, are in Siamese. The action has a sliding cover to keep out dirt. This rifle is unaltered as many were converted to 45-70 because of the rarity of the original 8mm ammo. Bright bore with a dark spot that may clean. Serial number 427. 95 plus % blue except for the butt plate which has surface rust. The cleaning rod is missing. The wood grades fine with some scattered bruising. An above average example. FFL or C&R.
