Smith & Wesson #2 Army. Very Tight. All Matching.
Description:
SOLD...Here is a pretty decent Smith & Wesson #2 Army. Has the standard 6" barrel. Caliber is .32 RF. S/N 45282 so made just after the Civil War S/N range. Has all matching assembly numbers of course The metal is an over all pleasing medium brown patina. Just has a trace of very light pin prick roughness on the top of the frame above the cylinder. Very minor and has never been cleaned on or messed with. The mechanics are excellent. The lock up is excellent and very tight. The barrel latch to the frame is also tight as new. No wobbles to the cylinder up and down or sideways and no wobble at the hinge. It is tight as new. This is not a warn out and loose Army that you usually will find. Barrel address is clear but the cylinder patent markings are a bit weak from holster carry and normal use. The grips are nice with some honest and normal usage dings on the left side. One small surface crack on the bottom right side. Still retains about 80% original varnish. The bore is strong with light roughness as to be expected.. This is a very tight and honest #2 Army at a very reasonable price. $15 insured shipping. Call 765-728-8049 with any questions or more photos.
