US MARKED COLT SAA
Description:
An orig Cavalry Colt in the 116k serial range. DFC marked. US stamped on the frame. This gun has a cartouche on the grips and the year 1885 is even visible. This is a survivor Colt that made it through all these years and still is a good looking revolver. The frame is an aged case color that has turned a deep grey. Cylinder is a blue/brown and the bbl has quite a bit of blue remaining. It does have orig grips with cartouche. There is a chip off the left grip but otherwise they are exceptional. Rarely do you see a bore as good as this in a military Colt. A nice early SAA!
Leroy Merz Antique Firearms specializes in antique and vintage Winchesters and other fine American firearms.
