.30'06 SPRG.  A very nice Mauser-actioned rifle for low money.  The barreled action is Yugoslavian. Elegant oil finished American walnut stock.  These were sometimes used as a takeoff stock to dress up other mauser rifles.

Stock has a forend tip in a darker shade of walnut or perhaps rosewood.  Steel grip cap.  Shadow line cheek piece.  'Supreme' recoil pad, factory installed.  14 inch length of pull.  No cast-off.  22-inch barrel.  Checkered bolt knob.  Model 70 style bottom metal and floor plate.

The condition of the metal and the bore is excellent and the wood is likewise in very good shape.  However, a small hairline crack has developed at the tang.  We recommend bedding the action before use as it is a loose fit in the stock. It will also benefit from some rubbing oil (ie. linseed) just behind the comb.
