Guns International #: 100452449
This is a nice original condition 38-55 1894 antique saddle ring carbine that is 112 years old. Excellent wood - perfect fit - ALL of the barrel and tube blue and the receiver is all blue but beginning to plum. No rust - no corrosion - no freckling and no scratches. Tight snappy action that indicates little use. The bore is not perfect but has only slight frosting all the way - but no pits or dark spots or 'skid marks'. It should be as accurate as a factory new bore. 38-55's were the most desirable caliber but commonly had rough bores. Fair case on the hammer and lever. As a whole it is exceptionally clean for a SRC. The pictures tell the story. Pleae phone me at 813-8861235 ( Fl) I offer a three day inspection and charge only my actual shipping expense. I have many many fine and unusual Winchesters left so feel free to inquire.
