Description:
This was the FIRST Winchester Commerative. Made in the U.S.A. (not Japan).I am the original owner. I bought it new in 1968. It is UNFIRED. There is no box and the price reflects that. It is unmarked- in as new condition. The 20" octogon barrel is marked on the right side-"A Centry of Leadership- 1866-1966."
These were only made in 1966 and only 102,309 were made. A beautiful 30-30 cal. carbine with a lanyard ring on the left side of the receiver. The receiver, fore end piece and buttstock are gold plated. Other metal is nicely blued. Lever action.
