The gloss blue receiver has Florintine scroll engraving which continues to the trigger guard, lower tang, operating lever and forearm latching hardware. The bottom of the receiver has an inset gold quail in flight. Beautiful, select quality, California walnut with cascading ripple, grain pattern is used for the pistol grip stock and the beavertail forearm. An inset ebony triangle decorates the forearm and the stock toe-line has a yet-to-be-initialed recessed gold oval. Abundant, wrap-around checkering covers the grip surfaces.
