The D.F. 6X was made between 1915 and 1918.
The serial numbers of Jena made glasses of this period fall between 500,000 and 800,000.
This one is 622609.
Black leather covered body with brass end caps and an alloy hinge and body.
The hinge has a tension knob at the objective end.
A spring tensioned eye piece cover is also present along with a case that has a belt loop but no shoulder strap.
The shoulder strap on the glass is partially torn at one end.
