Webley and Scott BLE 12ga with 28” barrels and a smooth sunken rib. It’s tight on face. Marked “Webley and Scott” and “Birmingham” on top of the barrels above the chambers. Choked IM and Full. Straight grip stock with nice straight grain. Splinter fore end with a Purdy style push button fastener. Finish is very good, no cracks or gouges and the checkering is intact and clean. The case coloring on the action is very good. The engraving is clean and modest. The makers name is on each side of the action in nice blocked engraving. The bottom plate of the action is blued. The straight grip stock features an un-engraved oval and a checkered butt. The checkering on the butt is clean and sharp. No butt plate. Length of Pull is 14.5, cast is neutral. Drop at the comb is 1.25 and about 2” at the heel. This gun weighs 6.8 lbs. Double triggers and ejectors. This is a very nice classic English style upland bird gun in superb condition. Light enough to be carried all day for Chukar or quail hunting. It’s a consignment gun, and if I had the cash for it, it wouldn’t be for sale. It’s a pretty gun!
