Winchester model 1873 lever action rifle. Chambers .44 WCF or .44-40 caliber cartridges through a 24 inch octogon barrel with a very good bore. Metal finish is patina throughout. Magazine tube is the same length as the barrel. Butt-plate is steel with patina. Stock has no cracks or splits, but has a repair area near the receiver. The edges of the stock show general wear. Brass feed ramp is stamped ".44 CAL". Stock has a compartment with a cleaning kit and brass cover. Lever is a little loose with an external hammer. Action is excellent. Overall condition is rated at ~65%. Missing the tang open sight. Front sight and the rear sights are attached. No box. Dated 1889. SN: 322###B
