38-55 In Great Condition
Description:
S# 293815, 38-55, 26 inch round barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1904 manufactured rifle remains in very good condition with over 80% blue on receiver, fading to brown at front with silvering on high edges. Barrel and mag tube show over 90% blue. Lever and hammer have 80% vivid case colors on sides with wear areas now a grey patina. Buttplate still has about 50% colors showing. Wood has a few scattered marks with a scratch on left side of butt near toe. Forend shows more wear (from carrying) than butt, they retain about 80% original finish. Gun looks great and remains all original including sights. FFL or C&R.
