Winchester M12 Black Diamond 12 gauge factory engraved
Description:
SALE PENDING
Winchester Model 12 Black Diamond 12 gauge pump action shotgun. Made in 1914 this gun is original even down to the interesting Jostom two layer foam recoil pad. Being that it is a 28” barrel with solid rib and a small forearm I will call it a field configuration Black Diamond instead of a Trap. Both the straight grip stock and the forearm are crafted out of beautiful, highly grained, American Walnut. The wood condition is worn but without damage on the butt and a there is a crack on the top, back, right side of the forearm (see picture). The gun is factory engraved by John Gough, with setters on point and one flushed bird on the left side; right side also has dogs on point. The sides of the receiver also feature a unique Germanic style border and a unique fleur di lis motif on the top…all in the style of John Gough. There is perhaps 70-75% blue left on the gun, but as I mentioned earlier it is all original. Very desirable and collectible Model 12 Black Diamond field.
