Description:
Inv. 5094 Pending Sale
Winchester Model 1873 (Made 1893), Caliber .32WCF, Serial Number 3345XXB.
Condition on this old friend is very nice. There is at least 70% of the original high polish blue on the receiver. The loss as usual is from the silvering on the edges and some flaking from age scattered about both side panels. The cased parts have toned to gray with some minor pitting on the lever.
The barrel, forend cap and magazine tube have a remarkable amount of blue at least 85%.
All parts match and are correct including the often missing dust cover.
The butt plate has toned to a smooth gray.
The rear buckhorn and front sight are also correct.
The stock has about 35% of th original lacquer with numerous nicks and dings.
The bore is mirror bright and razor sharp showing almost no use.
Should be great shooter for cowboy.
The gun locks up tight and seems to function properly.
Great find for the collector, cowboy action or small game hunter. $1975.
