This is a Winchester Model 1873 in 44 W.C.F.. The finish on the receiver is mainly patina, with some light signs of past pitting, and scratches on the receiver. On the left side of the receiver you can see a faint "S" scratched into the receiver just forward of the receiver sideplate (visible in photo). The barrel is 24" with a full octagon profile. The finish on the barrel is mainly patina, with some scratches, dings, and gouges. The buttstock and forearm are made from wood, with some scratches, dents, dings, and abrasions.
