Winchester Model 1876 Third Model Rifle in Outstanding Original Condition. .40-60 W.C.F. Made In 1887
Description:
This is a very nice and Original condition Winchester Model 1876. The rifle retains at least 95% factory blue and nearly all of the factory finish on the wood stock. The factory milling lines are still blue with minimal thinning. There is a little oil darkening where wood and steel meet but there are no crack of any kind. The very few dings in the stock do not look to have been softened and have some oil darkening as well. The barrel and mag tube retain nearly all of the factory blue with a very light white lines on the sharp edges. The forearm cap still has around half of the factory blue and the crescent butt has no blue at all and may have been case color, the trap door is excellent with a light mustard color. The bore looks close to new and is bright and shiny with strong rifling. This is one of the best 1876 rifles you will find anymore. This is an Antique Rifle and can be sent directly to your address.
