Winchester Model 21 Trap 12 Gauge
Description:
Winchester Model 21 Trap
12 gauge
30" barrels
Choked Full/Full
S/N 14XXX
L.O.P. 14 3/8" over Winchester red rubber buttplate
Factory 21-3 engraving pattern
Condition is excellent as our photos indicate
This gun came to us from a local family estate from father to son. The family declares the gun as original. The 21-3 engraving pattern is consistent with factory examples. We have contacted Cody to inquire as to the availability of production records for this gun and they have confirmed the fact that they have records for this serial number. As yet we have not requested a letter. This is a pre-war gun, probably 1939. The peculiarity of the Model 21is that Winchester did not use these receivers in the order they were manufactured. Often the final inspection date is much later than factory receiver production records would indicate.
