You are viewing a Winchester Pre 1964 Model 70 “Alaskan” chambered in .375 H&H and manufactured in 1962. Features include 25” heavy barrel, barrel lug, factory drilled receiver, claw extractor, control round feed receiver, hinged floor plate, Vais muzzle brake, smooth thread protector, Winchester roll rear sight, hooded ramped front sight and checkered walnut stock. This Model 70 has been glass beaded and had a crack repaired at the back tang screw coming off the bottom metal. Also there was an extra hole in the stock near the front sling swivel. It has been filled with walnut. Over all, this rifle is in great condition with the factory original bluing showing no rust or pitting and the stock has its original finish. This Winchester would make a great companion on and big game hunting expedition.
