"The Chinook Arch" by stephen c. elliott
Description: "The Chinook Arch" by stephen c. elliott (1943- ). Oil on canvas; 9" x 12". Stephen Elliott began in Loveland, CO. His subjects range from wildlife to landscapes. The chosen medium for his realistic expression is oil. Stephen was first a doctor. When practicing in Montana, he discovered the art and artists of the region, including Bob Scriver and Fred Fellows, and with their encouragement started painting on his days off. Montana inspired his love for wilderness and all things wild, and subsequently his motivation to paint the western landscape and its indigenous creatures. Now retired from Medicine, he paints full-time. PERIOD: Est 2000 ORIGIN: Colorado SIZE: 9” x 12 SOLD |
