South Bend Bamboo 9ft Fly Rod, Near Mint Condition
Description:
This rod is also from a Northern Colorado estate, like the others I have listed. It is a 9ft. rod and has a really nice leather case. A close inspection shows no use at all on this rod. Even the decal on the cork grip is fine. The rod sections are full length and there are no breaks or damage to the bamboo. The line guides still have a coating of varnish inside. Ferrules are tight.
All these estate items seem to be from Dave Cooks Sporting Goods of Denver.
It would be hard to find a better example of this rod. It is about 65 years old and is excellent.
Please call if you have any questions.
