1958 - Smith & Wesson Model 41 - Match Pistol - 99% in Original Box
Description: 1958 - Smith & Wesson Model 41 - .22LR 7-3/8" Muzzle Brake Barrel - with Original Box (properly numbered to gun), Correct Two Seam Magazine, and Rare Two-Tone Papers. Hard to find these with original box! These early guns from the first few years of production (1957 - 1959) are noticably nicer than guns made in later years. The 41s from the early 1960s are still very nice, but not nearly as well made as the first couple of years. Think Five Screw 29 versus later N Frames. Or, High Standard Trophy High Polish versus later Trophy. At first glance this gun looks MINT - NIB. But, on really close inspection, it has a some flaws. Grips are Perfect. There are a few minor marks on the metal. Please look closely at the photos. Looks like someone fired a few rounds out of the gun in 1958 and then put it back in the box. Right side toward the muzzle - looks like something metallic rubbed against the gun. Probably something inside the box with the gun. Some frecklying at the back of the frame above the grips where theof your hand fits the gun. Shipping to CONUS included in price. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS - I will consider trades on any item, and I am not averse to paying if your trade is more valuable than my listed item. Three day inspection always honored. All Federal and State laws apply. No credit cards. Any Tennessee buyer will have to arrange for transfer through another dealer who will have to collect sales tax on the transaction. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: No credit cards. I do not have a retail business location.
