J.P. Beck worked as a Gunsmith building the American Flint Lock Long Rifle & Pistols from late 1760's to 1811. He was in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. An extrodinary Craftsman, his pieces are very highly prized today.
The pistol offered here was fashioned after a J.P. Beck 50 cal Flint Lock Pistol. It was built by the renowned Gunsmith, William Buchele. The barrel is turned to the exact specifications of Beck's design. A Siler small lock, & all other parts were taken from molds of original Beck pistol parts. As close as you can come to an original pistol. Sterling Silver mounts exclusively. Top of barrel is marked J.P. Beck, and the right barrel flat is marked W. Buchele. Shipping is 40.00 No FFL required.
