Spanish Percussion pistol by Alberdi in Eibar. Dated 1832 on barrel in gold inlay. Also in gold inlay, ""De Herreraduraís"" which translated ""From Horseshoes"". Legend has it that barrels made from old horseshoes had excellent metal. Dolphin hammer and nicely chiseled fittings with gold background. Sideplate in the form of a serpent biting the front lock screw. Canon muzzle with knurled accent ring. Nicely embellished pistol. 7 1/4"" barrel. 12 1/4"" overall.
