Nice pistol. Well built and strong action in the lock. Fits in the hand well and is balanced nicely. Built for officers in the East Inida Company. Built in 1871, this pistol was a fine example of top notch technoloy for military use at the time of production. One can just imagine carrying one of these riding across the seas in a ship chasing pirates in the service to the Crown or having one as a sidearm for back up against advancing hordes of militants in the far reaches of the former British Empire. As well as keeping one of these pistols as a last ditch effort on the safari of your dreams against charging dangerous game. This would be an excellent conversation piece for any collection. A total Corwn Jewl of a piece.
